We’re hiring a Solutions Architect with deep hands-on experience in Azure Databricks and proven success leading enterprise-scale data migrations—whether from Informatica, other ETL/ELT platforms, or into modern frameworks like Unity Catalog.

In this role, you’ll guide clients through the full lifecycle of data platform modernization, designing cloud-native architectures that power advanced analytics and set the stage for generative AI adoption. You’ll partner with data engineers, data scientists, BI teams, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are not only technically sound but also optimized for scalability, governance, and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead and architect for large-scale data platform transformations, with a focus on Databricks, Azure, and modern governance frameworks like Unity Catalog.
  • Design and deliver scalable data solutions covering ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and analytics using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Azure Databricks.
  • Lead migrations from legacy and proprietary ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, etc.) into modern, cloud-native environments—prioritizing performance, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
  • Integrate Gen AI–powered solutions into data platforms, enabling intelligent automation, insights, and new business capabilities.
  • Develop prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and solution blueprints to validate architectures and align stakeholders.
  • Mentor and lead technical teams across engineering, analytics, and architecture disciplines, fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
  • Partner with clients to translate complex business challenges into modern technical strategies.
  • Contribute to presales, technical thought leadership, and internal enablement through whitepapers, blogs, and presentations.
  • Stay ahead of emerging best practices in Databricks, Azure, Gen AI, and modern data governance.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Databricks (Azure preferred), including pipelines, notebooks/jobs, performance optimization, and cluster management.
  • Demonstrated experience with data migrations: Informatica, legacy ETL/ELT, or governance modernization (e.g., Unity Catalog).
  • Solid foundation in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing design patterns.
  • Strong expertise in Azure data services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Azure Storage).
  • Experience leading architectural discussions and mentoring cross-disciplinary technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical audiences—including C-suite stakeholders.
  • Growth mindset and passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI and cloud-native data strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
  • Prior contributions to presales, technical writing, or community knowledge sharing.
  • Background in data governance, security, and FinOps in Azure.
  • Exposure to Gen AI frameworks, ML model integration, or AI-driven analytics.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
