We are looking for a Content Editor & Analyst to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!
In This Role
As a Content Editor & Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring players engage with high-quality, accurate, and inclusive content. You’ll edit and curate knowledge-based content, shape editorial standards, and analyze engagement metrics to refine the player experience. By collaborating with design, production, and data teams, you’ll help deliver content that is not only fun and educational but also continuously refreshed and optimized based on player feedback and performance data. This position blends creativity, editorial rigor, and analytical insight, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of storytelling, player engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
Content Curation

Define and maintain editorial standards including voice, tone, inclusivity, and difficulty calibration.

Edit, fact-check, and validate content items to ensure clarity, accuracy, and cultural sensitivity.

Structure content with taxonomies, tags, and metadata to support variety, discoverability, and progression.

Contribute to the development and optimization of editorial workflows and tools.
Live Operations & Games-as-a-Service

Plan, prepare, and manage cycles of live content updates to ensure consistency and quality.

Develop and maintain a larger content update strategy informed by player behavior and real-world trends.

Partner with cross-functional teams (production, design, trust & safety) to align content with engagement and retention goals.
Content Performance & Player Insights

Collect and interpret customer feedback to identify content improvement opportunities.

Analyze engagement data (telemetry, completion rates, pacing) to refine editorial content.

Partner with data teams to maintain dashboards and reports surfacing actionable insights.

Identify trends and player behavior patterns to inform prioritization and future content strategy.
Qualifications — Required
-
3–5+ years of experience in editorial, content development, educational/game writing, or related fields.

Strong portfolio showcasing writing and editing skills with a commitment to accuracy and clarity.

Proficiency in interpreting dashboards, spreadsheets, and structured data to inform editorial decisions.

Hands-on experience with content management systems and task tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

Skilled at editing short-form knowledge items and structuring content using taxonomies/metadata.

Broad curiosity and passion for general knowledge across diverse topics; ability to research effectively.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in live-service or free-to-play content environments with ongoing refresh cycles.

Familiarity with emerging content creation and optimization technologies.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive content practices.

Background in moderation, trust & safety, or user-facing content review.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $80,000 to $85,000 annually. The final salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may fall outside this range.
