Senior Test Associate

In this Role
You will be part of a high-impact engineering team responsible for validating, testing, and supporting hybrid cloud storage solutions. This role focuses on ensuring quality and reliability across multiple product lines, including services that synchronize on-premises data to the cloud. You’ll work closely with development and operations teams to execute end-to-end scenario validations, manage automated pipelines, and deliver production deployments. The ideal candidate combines deep technical testing expertise with a strong understanding of server and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities

Participate in daily Scrum meetings to review progress, blockers, and planned activities.

Execute and validate end-to-end test scenarios for hybrid cloud storage solutions.

Develop, maintain, and execute test documentation, including test plans, scripts, and results reports.

Run and monitor automated pipelines for testing and production deployments.

Analyze and interpret test outcomes, identify defects, and recommend improvements to enhance software quality.

Collaborate with engineering and program teams to ensure consistent test coverage and release readiness.

Track progress against monthly and daily deliverables to meet established KPIs and deadlines.

Contribute to a continuous improvement mindset—learning and adapting to new Azure and cloud technologies.
Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on software testing experience.

Strong experience with server technologies and cloud platforms (Azure or similar).

10+ years of experience writing and executing test documentation (test plans, scripts, reports).

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar).

Proven ability to analyze and interpret test results and provide actionable recommendations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and organized approach to testing activities.

Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience testing or deploying hybrid file synchronization services (e.g., Azure File Sync or equivalent).

Prior experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments or large technology organizations.

Familiarity with EB2 or similar CI/CD pipeline automation tools.

Demonstrated long-term commitment to project teams with strong accountability for deliverables.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $24 - $27 USD/hourly. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
