In this Role
You will be a key contributor to the operational excellence of one of the world’s largest customer success organizations. This position focuses on designing, documenting, and optimizing internal processes that enable teams to deliver consistent, measurable outcomes for customers. You will translate complex business processes into clear, actionable guidance for a junior IT audience, ensuring that documentation and success metrics align with organizational goals. This role combines independent, heads-down analytical work with periodic collaboration sessions alongside program managers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, refine, and implement business or technical processes using structured methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, or equivalent).
- Develop clear and comprehensive documentation to guide internal and external end users, particularly targeting junior IT audiences.
- Measure and report on process success metrics to evaluate performance, efficiency, and impact.
- Collaborate with program managers, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to align documentation and process design with strategic goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
- Participate in recurring status meetings and stakeholder updates, with occasional after-hours calls (approximately once per month).
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in process design and improvement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience creating and maintaining end-user documentation for IT or technical operations teams, with an emphasis on clarity and accessibility for junior audiences.
- 10+ years of experience in success measurement, performance tracking, and reporting on process or program effectiveness.
- Strong written communication skills with attention to structure, tone, and consistency.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining high output quality.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in large-scale customer success, technical support, or enterprise operations environments.
- Familiarity with cloud services or enterprise technology ecosystems.
- Experience developing success measurement frameworks or dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Excel).
- Professional certification in process improvement or service management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ITIL Foundation, PMP).
- Prior experience in documentation design for global or distributed teams.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $125k - $135k USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
