Senior Windows & Endpoint Engineer – Teams Rooms / Intune

In This Role
In this role, you will support a large-scale enterprise environment by designing, implementing, and managing collaboration devices and Windows/Android-based systems. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance device experiences across meeting rooms, hybrid workspaces, and global facilities. Your work will include hands-on hardware support in lab environments, modern endpoint management, system automation, and troubleshooting complex issues across Windows and Android platforms. This is a hybrid, hands-on technical role suited for someone who enjoys device engineering, systems optimization, and modern device lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
Device & Systems Engineering
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Windows and Android device solutions, including meeting room systems, collaboration endpoints, and workspace devices.
- Configure, manage, and optimize Teams-compatible devices across Windows-based and Android-based environments.
- Lead lifecycle management for room systems, collaboration devices, and endpoint infrastructure.
Endpoint & Identity Management
- Deploy and manage Intune, Autopilot, and modern provisioning technologies for secure and scalable device onboarding.
- Integrate device fleets with directory services, conditional access, identity governance, and Zero Trust-aligned controls.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop PowerShell automations to streamline deployment, configuration, monitoring, and remediation.
- Create reusable scripts and automation pipelines to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
Operational Excellence
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting for OS-level, device-level, networking, and identity-related issues.
- Monitor system health, performance, and compliance across Windows and Android endpoints.
- Produce detailed documentation covering configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with engineering, product, and support teams to introduce new device capabilities and optimize existing environments.
- Provide Tier-3 support to resolve escalated issues from operations and service engineering teams.
- Participate in governance reviews, audits, and security hardening initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Windows Administrator supporting enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows OS configuration, deployment, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Microsoft Teams device ecosystems (Windows-based and Android-based devices).
- Advanced knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, endpoint provisioning, and modern device management practices.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience with Android OS device configuration and management.
- Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week for hardware testing and lab activities.
- Ability to handle device hardware up to ~10 lbs.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience working within structured processes such as CAB (Change Advisory Board) environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting large enterprises with complex collaboration/room system environments.
- Experience with Zero Trust principles and identity governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with managing Surface Hub, Teams Room devices, or similar collaboration technologies.
- Experience with Azure-based automation, monitoring tools, or device analytics.
- Background in device lifecycle programs covering deployment, migration, and security hardening.
- Previous exposure to high-availability device environments or Tier-3 technical support.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $130,000 to $140,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
