In This Role
You will support a high-volume U.S. business immigration operation by conducting legal reviews, ensuring compliance across daily filings, and advising on immigration-related matters. You will leverage your U.S. immigration law expertise to guide administrators, resolve complex I-9/E-Verify issues, and help improve legal and operational processes. This position offers exposure to a broad range of immigration casework and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
Responsibilities

Review non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings to ensure legal accuracy and compliance.

Use U.S. immigration legal knowledge to meet daily workflow targets and maintain integrity of the case preparation program.

Conduct remote and onsite legal review of petitions and filings.

Train administrative staff on USCIS filings, document processing, PERM job posting procedures, and general immigration workflows.

Provide daily support to admins, reviewing their work and ensuring legal quality and accuracy.

Address legal questions related to I-9 completion, reverification, and E-Verify requirements.

Support resolution of complex E-Verify issues.

Assist managers with understanding PERM requirements and applicant-review obligations.

Perform root-cause analysis for legal or operational issues and propose process improvements to enhance compliance, streamline workflows, and strengthen operational resiliency.

Respond to email inquiries from visa-dependent employees on topics including visa eligibility, green card processes, travel guidance, and maintenance of status.
Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active admission to a state bar.

1+ years of immigration law experience (business immigration preferred; family-based acceptable with transferable skills).

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with Microsoft productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting high-volume immigration operations.

Hands-on experience resolving complex E-Verify issues.

Prior exposure to PERM processes and employer-sponsored immigration programs.

Experience training or mentoring staff on legal processes or USCIS requirements.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors, including—but not limited to—skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $75,000 to $80,000 USD annually. The final salary/wage and job title for this opening will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may fall outside this range.
