In This Role

In this role, you will help shape next-generation calendar and time-management experiences that integrate AI-powered assistance into everyday workflows. You’ll design intuitive, end-to-end solutions that help people plan, prioritize, schedule, and collaborate more effectively across devices. Working at the intersection of productivity, conversational UX, and autonomous AI systems, you’ll explore how intelligent experiences can act as a trusted thought partner—anticipating needs, recommending next steps, and reducing cognitive load. This is an opportunity to influence how AI-native productivity products are designed at scale, balancing bold future vision with practical, shippable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute the design vision for AI-powered calendar and time-management experiences, including conversational interfaces and autonomous agent workflows.

  • Design end-to-end user journeys across desktop, web, and mobile surfaces that simplify planning, scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow-up.

  • Explore how AI, prediction, and conversational UX can collaborate with users as a thought partner rather than a passive tool.

  • Lead ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces by balancing long-term product vision with near-term execution.

  • Set a high bar for design craft, usability, and polish, ensuring cohesive and thoughtful experiences across the ecosystem.

  • Partner closely with product management, engineering, research, and data science to translate insights into shipped experiences.

  • Use qualitative research and quantitative data to guide decisions, validate direction, and iterate toward long-term user value.

  • Influence and mentor other designers, helping raise quality, consistency, and systems thinking across the broader design organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, or a related field and 5+ years of professional product or service design experience
    OR
Master’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of professional design experience
    OR
Equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong product thinking and design leadership.

  • A thorough, disciplined design process with at least 4 years of experience applying structured problem-solving methods from discovery through delivery.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma with 2+ years of hands-on experience, including complex workflows, components, and systems-level thinking.

  • Familiarity with generative AI concepts and at least 1 year of experience designing or integrating AI-powered features into products.

  • Ability to work independently while clearly articulating design rationale, tradeoffs, and decision-making.

  • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, including problem framing, exploration, execution, and impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A portfolio showing leadership on complex, high-scale products used by large, diverse audiences.

  • Proven experience setting or influencing design direction for mature, highly integrated product ecosystems.

  • Exceptional design craft, including strong interaction design, motion, layout, and visual clarity across workflows.

  • Comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces and breaking down large systems into durable, user-centered solutions.

  • Experience partnering deeply with research, data, product, and engineering to inform direction and measure outcomes.

  • Experience designing agentic or AI-powered experiences that go beyond simple suggestions—helping define how intelligent systems plan, act, and evolve over time while earning user trust through transparency and control.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
