Bracebridge is seeking to hire a talented undergraduate sophomore student as a co-op in our IT department.  The co-op will report to the Desktop Engineering Manager and will gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT operations, with a primary focus on firm-wide Windows 11 deployment (imaging), asset management, and endpoint administration. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic IT environment, develop technical skills, and contribute to a key infrastructure project.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Device Imaging & Deployment
• Assist in imaging desktops and laptops with the Windows 11 OS.
• Ensure all devices meet firm-wide standards and security policies.
• Verify successful OS installations before deployment.
• Workstation Setup & Deployment
• Set up desks, docking stations, and peripherals for end users.
• Physically deploy imaged devices to users’ workspaces.
• Ensure proper network connectivity and hardware functionality.
• User Support & Software Configuration
• Assist users with logging in for the first time and performing initial setup.
• Help install and configure firm-approved applications as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic user issues related to OS, software, and hardware.
• Documentation & Asset Tracking
• Update records for deployed devices in asset management systems.
• Document installation/configuration steps and any troubleshooting performed.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure smooth rollout and minimal disruptions.
• Communicate with end users to provide basic guidance and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, device imaging, and endpoint management.
• Familiarity with IT concepts, including Active Directory, asset management, and software deployment, is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist end users professionally and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow processes and document technical procedures.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong interest in enterprise IT operations, imaging, and end-user support.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
