Private Equity Operations Specialist

The Private Equity Operations Specialist resides within our Back Office Operations group. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic group of people while learning about the operational aspects of the group.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/process wires for capital calls, fund expenses and distributions.
  • Reconcile cash, commitments and securities across multiple platforms.
  • Handle any ad-hoc requests related to reporting of the fund.
  • Assist in reviewing monthly shareholder statements.
  • Other operational, recordkeeping, and data processing assignments as determined.

Qualifications:

  • B.A. degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of related experience within financial services, private equity or family office.
  • Understanding of accounting controls as they relate to the private equity operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to work with colleagues internally as well as the firm’s external counterparties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
  • Possess exceptional organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail.
