About the Role
We’re seeking a Project Manager to join our product team. This newly created position will report to the Vice President, Program Management.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing BrainPOP’s architecture squad within the Engineering department. This squad is responsible for creating a solid technical foundation for our systems, working cross functionally with other development squads on their projects to ensure they are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with the business requirements and goals. Your responsibilities will range from managing project timelines, partnering with Squad Leaders, facilitating team scrum ceremonies, collaborating with teammates, and more to ensure deliverables are met. Your contribution to the Product department will impact BrainPOPpers and learners each and every day by ensuring cross-functional teams can work together and deliver value to our users.
This role will have a weekly in-person component at our Tel Aviv office.
In this role, you will:
- Own the delivery and timeline for architecture projects and deliverables from start to finish
- Facilitate prioritization of the architecture squad’s work
- Track and report on project status and team KPIs
- Manage team resources efficiently and effectively
- Understand dependencies for the work your architecture squad is responsible for
- Identify and mitigate risks to projects and team deliverables
- Implement and improve processes within your teams
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communications
- Monitor team health and foster relationships among colleagues
- Facilitate team operations and communications
- Collaborate with colleagues from all departments and disciplines to solve problems
- Reduce ambiguity and be the go-to teammate

On Your Resume
- 4+ years of technical project management experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on-time
- You have a firm grasp on the software development lifecycle and the DevOps processes
- You have managed cross functional technical projects including or equivalent to: Product Discovery/Requirements Gathering, Product Design, Front-end and Back-end Development, QA Testing, Release Management, and Post-Release Maintenance.
- You have collaborated directly with design and development teams to scope work
- You have implemented various Agile methodologies including Scrum
- Bonus: You have a Scrum Master certification or equivalent
- You have used or are familiar with Jira, Confluence, LinearB, or other equivalent tools
- You have an understanding of the complexities of integration, performance optimization, and data flow within software systems
- You have a toolkit of techniques at your disposal with the ability to apply them in unique situations
- You have experience with Cloud Infrastructure: Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
