In This Role You Will

  • Pedagogical Vision: Define, evolve, and champion BrainPOP's core pedagogical approach, ensuring it serves as the foundation for all learning content and is clearly articulated both internally and externally.
  • Implementation Models: Own the development and refinement of our classroom implementation models, researching and determining how our products best fit into the educational day to maximize educator adoption and student impact. Partner closely with our Curriculum and Instruction team to develop models that ensure a seamless transition into our customer base.
  • Learning Design Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Learning Design team in the creation of engaging, effective, and scalable learning content that aligns with our pedagogical vision.
  • Creative Collaboration: Partner closely with our Animation and Editorial teams, providing clear learning guidance and frameworks while championing the creative freedom, humor, and design that makes BrainPOP unique.
  • Product & Platform Alignment: Partner with Product Management and Research and Design to ensure the content strategy and the platform/technology roadmap are fully aligned, integrated, and prioritized to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Marketing & GTM Alignment: Partner with Product Marketing to translate our pedagogical approach, implementation models, and research findings into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with educators, administrators, and parents in the market.
  • Operational Excellence: Work with Program Management to define realistic timelines and deliverables, ensuring the Learning Design team meets its commitments in a fast-paced environment.

You Are

  • Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Able to develop and manage a complex content portfolio across multiple products, making strategic trade-offs and prioritizing initiatives based on pedagogical goals, user needs, and business objectives.
  • Pragmatic & Commercial Mindset: A strategic, 'roll-up-your-sleeves' thinker who balances deep pedagogical expertise with a pragmatic, commercial mindset and a strong understanding of go-to-market strategies.

Form CC-305

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
