Director of Revenue Analytics and Insights

Location: Tampa, Florida

Job Description

The Director of Revenue Analytics & Insights will be responsible for serving as a strategic thought partner to the Sales leaders, Revenue Operations, and go-to-market (GTM) executive team; using a data-driven approach to annual planning, sales and launches forecasting; delivering insightful analyses on the sales funnel, from lead generation all the way through deal closing, to increase revenue and provide sales team members with actionable strategies; leading the creation of an accurate sales forecasting process in partnership with the Finance team; building & maintaining executive / sales leadership dashboards reporting sales, forecasting, pipeline, churn, and customer performance KPIs; surfacing insights from data captured about sales deals from the CRM system; operationalizing company GTM analytics strategy to ensure that all data is centralized and easily accessible to business stakeholders; establishing and maintaining business relationships in the go-to-market organization, and consistently demonstrating a thorough understanding of internal customers' business needs; building, leading, and developing the talent of a high-performing analytical team that delivers actionable insights for the GTM teams; ensuring high quality insights and creating executive summary materials with compelling recommendations tied to business impact for the GTM teams; framing and structuring complex business problems into analyses that need to be delivered to make decisions; driving the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that support executives in making key decisions, including working with executive leadership to identify new metrics and performance indicators; analyzing and explaining changes in key performance indicators to business partners and leadership; building and supporting ad-hoc pipeline and other GTM data requests.

Only incidental domestic travel is required for this position. Telecommuting available anywhere in the United States.

Annual salary between: $74,714 - $228,700

Job Requirements

Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Data Analytics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Must possess 7 years of work experience within RevOps or Analytics. Must possess 3 years of experience with: (a) working with a usage-based revenue model which involves aligning revenue-generating individuals with technology to achieve growth, efficiencies, and scale; (b) working in a revenue operations and analytics environment using knowledge of customer lifecycle technology; (c) assessing and establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to determine business productivity and profitability while assessing business performance against organizational goals; (d) collaborating across departments to enhance business practices regarding data infrastructure, data availability, and accuracy; (e) developing and maintain forecasting models and sales and revenue dashboards; (f) implementing new tools, processes, and practices in complex operating environments and; (g) using the following tools and technologies: SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, Microsoft Excel, Jira, SalesForce. All experience can be gained concurrently.
