Role Overview:

The Account Manager manages relationships with health plans and providers across several Brave markets. The Lead works with accounts once they go through the implementation process and monitors their growth, health, and performance through their lifecycle. They are an expert in what makes Brave different from other mental health provider solutions, and constantly look for ways to keep Brave top of mind out in the market. They set the standard for client service, identify and execute on growth opportunities, and educate and model these standards in all directions, internally and externally. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the implementation plans for key partner accounts after they’re handed off by business development, with the goal of maximizing referrer activation
  • Identify and map teams and key contacts for each assigned account and qualify new contacts for market growth
  • Build and own relationships at the manager, supervisor and leadership level including reporting, data reviews, leadership check ins 
  • Train new hires and retrain existing referrers. This includes: providing effective onboarding that achieves our target activation results, maintaining up to date referrer rosters, identifying new activation opportunities, and scheduling new educational content
  • Create and interpret reports for monthly data reviews; analyze results, troubleshoot, and recommend the right actions  
  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly intervals on KPIs + leading indicators by account, internally and externally, utilizing Salesforce and Tableau dashboards 
  • Develop training manuals and process documentation for partners and staff 
  • Partner closely with Marketing on the nurture strategy for onboarded accounts 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in business development, sales or sales operations, or account management; 1-2+ years in payer-facing healthcare strongly preferred
  • Track record of exceeding results, effectively managing pipelines, achieving targets/quotas
  • 2+ years of Stakeholder management with Director level and above within accounts 
  • Past success in a startup environment or in a high-growth business phase
  • Proven ability to build and drive operational initiatives from the ground up
  • Uses  data to inform strategic growth decision making
  • Strong public speaking, pitching, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience using Salesforce or similar CRM required
  • Experience with Tableau or other reporting and data visualization tools 
  • Highly proficient user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
