Job Type: Full Time Onsite Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:15PM)
Job Description: Bravo is seeking a Corporate Controller who is a Certified Public Accountant and will enjoy working in a quick-paced, dynamic environment. This position reports directly to the CFO and will work closely with the Finance & Accounting team. The candidate we are seeking must be a diligent self-starter, highly organized, an excellent communicator, and detail oriented. The candidate will be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, prepaid expense and expense accruals.
- Coordinate all audit activity.
- Work with outside tax consultant to ensure accurate and timely filing of federal, state and local taxes.
- Manage month end closing process, including general ledger allocations, journal entries and expense analysis.
- Assist project accounting with any necessary reporting or project related analysis.
- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, payment of costs, and corporate budget analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
- Strong experience with Work-in-Progress (WIP) analysis.
- 10+ years’ experience in corporate accounting, with significant exposure to the Architecture + Engineering and/or Construction Management fields. Experience working with local public agencies within these sectors is a plus.
- Knowledge of BST accounting software is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university. #LI-Onsite
Salary
$120,000 - $160,000 USD
