Job Title: Architect
Location: Long Island City, Queens
Job Type: Full Time, Onsite
Job Description: Bradford Construction, a BRAVO Group company, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Architect to support one of our NYC public agency clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the architectural design and delivery of multiple public-sector projects, including new construction, modernizations, additions, and renovations.
- Coordinate the work of consulting firms to ensure project alignment with agency goals and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and supervise the development of project scope, pre-schematic, schematic, preliminary, and construction documents, including reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Conduct thorough design and constructability reviews to confirm code compliance, coordination, and feasibility.
- Administer the construction phase of projects by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, performing site visits, and supporting project closeout.
- Mentor and train newly assigned staff and external design consultants on project standards, documentation practices, and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Registered Architect (RA) in the State of New York
- Minimum of 3 years of architectural experience specific to institutional/government projects
- Strong understanding of public sector design standards, documentation, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in architectural design tools and software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture #ZR #LI-Onsite
Salary
$100,000 - $120,000 USD
