San Francisco

At Braze, we have found our people. We’re a genuinely approachable, exceptionally kind, and intensely passionate crew.

We seek to ignite that passion by setting high standards, championing teamwork, and creating work-life harmony as we collectively navigate rapid growth on a global scale while striving for greater equity and opportunity – inside and outside our organization.

To flourish here, you must be prepared to set a high bar for yourself and those around you. There is always a way to contribute: Acting with autonomy, having accountability and being open to new perspectives are essential to our continued success.

Our deep curiosity to learn and our eagerness to share diverse passions with others gives us balance and injects a one-of-a-kind vibrancy into our culture.

If you are driven to solve exhilarating challenges and have a bias toward action in the face of change, you will be empowered to make a real impact here, with a sharp and passionate team at your back. If Braze sounds like a place where you can thrive, we can’t wait to meet you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an AI Architect, you will accelerate adoption of BrazeAI capabilities and services by working directly with customers at critical moments to identify and prioritize use cases and activate their first AI and agentic use cases.

Since 2025, Braze has launched a suite of Agentic AI products, including Decisioning Studio, Agent Console, Operator, and MCP capabilities. Every Braze customer is on their own AI transformation journey, with many marketers needing additional support to better understand the best application of these capabilities for their unique needs.  The AI Architects will meet these customers where they are at to educate and advise so they get the best return on their AI investments with Braze.  This includes running workshops, diagnostics, and accelerators to take marketers through ideation, prototyping, and launch of their first BrazeAI agents.

You will work collaboratively and build trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders, leading with curiosity and inspiring others to evolve their marketing strategies with AI. The role is consultative: you pair deep Braze core knowledge (Canvas, Catalogs, Content Blocks, Liquid, data ingestion) with understanding marketing strategies and effective applications of BrazeAI.

The role requires travel, up to 25% at peak times, and is based in New York supporting our AMER region.

ACTIVITIES

  • Lead customer engagements focused on driving adoption, for example:
    • BrazeAI Workshops: marketers leave with one or two agents built or prototyped and a way to measure their impact
    • AI Accelerators a 2–6 week engagement with a named objective and weekly working sessions, guiding the customer from use case ideation to the launch and initial impact reporting of the new strategy
    • AI Diagnostics: assess a customer's messaging program, data, and current BrazeAI use, benchmark their maturity, and deliver 3–5 prioritized actions and a read on readiness for our AI Expert Services add-ons

  • Demonstrate and document best practices, playbooks and AI solutions recipes to existing customers and key partners.
  • Work with customers to identify and prioritize use cases that will drive their business goals
  • Identify technical hurdles for customers looking to adopt BrazeAI, resolve organizational friction to enable decision making to drive adoption
  • Recommend Professional Services partners for additional or extended support needs, and help transition context and diagnostics to other services teams
  • Provide thought leadership - internally and externally - on how AI enables marketing teams drive better business outcomes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., account management, customer success, professional services, AI success, product, marketing, learning and communities) to continuously improve Braze's products and externally facing materials
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills are essential

You lead with curiosity and have deep empathy for customers. You have a demonstrated track record of persuading others and influencing without owning the account
  • An engaging facilitator: You have had experience running workshops, hackathons, enablement programs, or embedded consulting engagements. You are an enthusiastic presenter who can run a room of marketers with very different skill levels and have them building within the hour. You’re able to adapt your message to marketers vs executives on their road to AI adoption
  • Experienced: You have 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions consulting, sales engineering, technical account management, customer success, or marketing technology consulting
  • Braze-savvy: You have worked with Braze enough to look at a Canvas, a Catalog, or a whole strategy and be able to determine opportunities with BrazeAI that would improve business outcomes
  • Intellectual curiosity and fluency in Applied AI: You understand how generative AI and agents apply to marketing, including prompt design, guardrails, evaluation, testing and optimization. You have experience with MCP, LLM tooling, or building skills and templates for AI assistants

Value-driven: You are able to build business cases and/or measure ROI on AI investments particularly for a credit consumption model.

  • Mar-tech savvy: You understand the marketing technology ecosystem and can develop a perspective on the most effective ways to structure a customer's solution, with domain knowledge in two or more of: AI and LLMs, SaaS, marketing automation, marketing analytics, APIs, SQL and Liquid, or mobile
  • Structured and organized: You can take initiative to structure a working plan, clearly define objectives, prioritize activities across multiple engagements at one time and you’re comfortable building process while doing the work
  • A problem solver: You are able to break a complex problem into components and collaborate with the right people to efficiently get to a solution
