The Role and Responsibilities:
We are organizing a new Accounts Payable (AP) service line within our Onboarding and Client Solutions Department, and this role is a key part of that launch.
As our AP Specialist, you’ll help shape how we deliver AP services, build smart workflows, connect tech solutions, and set the standard for seamless client onboarding. This is a foundational opportunity to leave your mark and grow as the department expands.
- Build smart, scalable AP workflows that become the gold standard for our clients.
- Lead the charge on AP setup during client onboarding and make the process seamless.
- Bring tech to life by connecting and optimizing AP software and system integrations.
- Empower teams with clear training, tools, and smooth handoffs.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve like a pro to keep everything running smoothly.
- Spot opportunities to make processes faster, cleaner, and smarter.
- Shape the future of our AP service line and become the in-house AP expert.

Required:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including basic AP/expense coding
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to implement new software platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Process-oriented mindset with ability to create efficient, repeatable workflows.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred:
- Experience with AP automation platforms (e.g., Bill.com, Ramp, Divvy, Tipalti, or similar).
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
- Experience in a client-service or outsourced accounting environment.
