The Role and Responsibilities:  

We are organizing a new Accounts Receivable (AR) service line within our Onboarding and Client Solutions Department, and this role is a key part of that launch.

As our AR Specialist, you’ll help shape how we deliver AR services, build smart workflows, connect tech solutions, and set the standard for seamless client onboarding. This is a foundational opportunity to leave your mark and grow as the department expands.

• Lead the charge on AR setup during client onboarding and make the process seamless.
• Bring tech to life by connecting and optimizing AR software and system integrations.
• Empower teams with clear training, tools, and smooth handoffs.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve like a pro to keep everything running smoothly.
• Spot opportunities to make processes faster, cleaner, and smarter.
• Shape the future of our AR service line and become the in-house AR expert.

Required:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with solid understanding of accounts receivable, billing practices, and revenue recognition principles.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to independently learn new invoicing/AR platforms across varied industries.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and data analysis with large datasets.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) within the last 5 years
• Detail- and process-oriented with a focus on creating efficient, repeatable workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience with billing models such as time & materials, project-based, or milestone billing.
• Experience with other cloud-based accounting systems such as Sage, NetSuite, or Xero.
• Familiarity with AR automation tools, billing platforms, or industry-specific invoicing software.
• Prior experience in a client-service or outsourced accounting environment.
