Program Manager Emergency Response

Breeze is looking for an emergency management and planning professional. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, organized, and well spoken individual who can lead. The Program Manager Emergency Response will be primary liaison between airports and the NTSB for emergency preparedness and will be responsible for maintaining and continually improving the airline’s emergency response program.
Here's what you'll do
- Serving as the primary liaison to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Transportation Disaster Assistance (TDA) team
- Implementing and maintaining the airline emergency response program
- Maintaining the department emergency response checklists
- Plan and facilitate corporate emergency response drills
- Maintaining company emergency response training and manuals in accordance with applicable local and federal aviation regulations
- Facilitating emergency response training classes
- Monitoring the emergency response program for effectiveness and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
- Keep company apprised on all current NTSB regulations
- Represents the Company on emergency response matters dealing with applicable governmental agencies and professional organizations (i.e., NTSB, ARC,)
- Attends full scale simulations/tabletop exercises at Category X and Category I-IV airports as available
- Attending seminars and industry meetings to remain knowledgeable of relevant emergency response issues
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager Security and Emergency Response
Here's what you'll need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years aviation experience in either airline operations or equivalent emergency management experience
- Must have working knowledge of applicable emergency response programs
- Must be able to travel with short notice
- Must be able to obtain a passport and travel internationally
- Must have working knowledge of applicable CFRs and NTSB Rules and Regulations
- Must be able to pass all required security background checks
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Effective people management skills
- Excellent communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
- NTSB TDA 301 or emergency management certifications
- Management training preferred
- College degree preferred
Skills/Talents
- Proficient computer skills required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
- Ability to speak in front of large groups
- Ability to handle stressful environments
- Attention to detail and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
