Working at Breeze Airways is an exciting endeavor and a serious commitment to bring “The World’s Nicest Airline” to life. We work cross-functionally with truly awesome Team Members to deliver on our mission: “To make the world of travel simple, affordable, and convenient. Improving our guests travel experience using technology, ingenuity and kindness.”

Breeze is hiring- join us!

At Breeze, our internal tools are critical to enable scalability of our fast-growing airline. Our product managers are essential members of the team that develops and builds these solutions. The expectation of a Senior Product Manager is that they can manage highly complex mission-critical technical products and work with a high degree of autonomy, while maintaining the trust of their team members, stakeholders, and the leadership team.

The position will sit at the nexus of frontline operational teams, technology partners, and executive leadership, as you prioritize development work, shape and maintain outcome-based product roadmaps, and provide clear vision, direction, and strategy for mission-critical operational capabilities. You will serve as the subject matter expert for airline operations within your domain, offering guidance to leaders on operational needs, safety and regulatory considerations, system dependencies, and the evolving dynamics of real-time airline operations.

You will partner closely with digital design and engineering to explore new concepts and deliver improvements to our digital products, while championing a relentless focus on running a safe, reliable, and on-time operation through intuitive tools and operational automation. This work enables more consistent execution across airline operations, supporting better coordination, faster recovery, and a smoother end-to-end guest experience.

Our product managers partner with the engineering managers to serve as the de facto leaders of their product teams, driving discovery and delivery within the group. Additionally, a Senior Product Manager at Breeze must be a next-level team player, successful at managing relationships and collaborating and influencing across a variety of organizational functions within Airline Operations, Guest Experience, Information Systems, Marketing, Revenue Management, and others. You will adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Here's what you'll do

Defining the Product through Discovery

  • Identify areas of operational opportunity that can be solved through the development of digital solutions. Understanding the needs of frontline operational teams is critical to success.
  • Develop a long-term strategic roadmap for assigned operational products.
  • Maintain a value-based, prioritized backlog of opportunities for your product that aligns to Breeze Airways’ business strategy and goals. Develop business cases and models backed by data.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, data-driven decisioning, and emerging AI capabilities to reduce manual effort, improve decision quality, and scale operational performance while maintaining safety and reliability.
  • Use product discovery techniques to move from idea to prototype. Approach operational problems with an open mind and embrace learnings from user research.
  • Gather insights through qualitative and quantitative research into operational behaviors, including field research in the operations control center, airports, and on Breeze flights.
  • Utilize data, including operational performance metrics, system usage statistics, incident and disruption data, and industry reports to inform prioritization and solutions.
  • Stay current with airline operations, aviation technology, and operational best practices, as well as competitors’ operational capabilities.
  • Maintain awareness of third-party capabilities that provide viable operational solutions. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Develop and prioritize experimentation, prototyping, and iterative validation approaches including the thoughtful use of automation and data-driven techniques to drive superior operational outcomes.

Guiding the Product through Delivery

  • Partner with the engineering manager to deliver the product backlog.
  • Accountable for the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Utilize story mapping techniques to inform the creation of release plans, with a strong bias towards incremental delivery and iteration.
  • Ensure appropriate measurement and monitoring capabilities are in place to track operational performance and product health, enabling ongoing iteration and improvement.
  • Coordinate with the product development leadership on product development across the company; identifying dependencies, potential impact to the development team, and opportunities to drive a larger impact.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure operational support for product implementation.
  • Make key tradeoff decisions when required, smartly using data when it exists and solid judgment when it doesn’t, escalating as appropriate.
  • Engage in constructive conversations with - and deliver tough messages when needed - to key stakeholders, including senior executives, while continually building professional and productive relationships.
  • Provide 24x7 support during system outages or emergencies.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
