The Onboard Charter Representative (OCR) is a high profile, guest-facing position that showcases our Breeze Values and Seriously Nice guest service. The OCR tends to non-flying actions pre-flight, in-flight and post flight. He or she establishes and maintains awareness through communication with the Flight Crew, OCC, Guests, and Business Partners. The OCR also confirms and verifies logistical support and acts as the flight’s Ground Security Coordinator. The OCR promotes safety and security with guest boarding and cargo loading. The position of the OCR is expected to alleviate the workload of the working Flight Crew.

Starting Pay: $30 per hour

Here's what you'll do

  • Acts as liaison between Guests, Team members and Business Partners
  • Confirm Trip Package contains all necessary documents
  • Make positive contact with all Business partners and Crew to communicate Charter specific details and updates
  • Verify and adjust Guest manifests in Airline Choice
  • Confirm all Trip Handling arrangements (trip logistics, catering, fuel, payment)
  • Confirm crew and OCR have hotel and ground transportation arrangements as applicable
  • Conduct Charter Crew briefing relating trip details and timelines
  • Conduct Guest screening as outlined within the Private Screening Security program guidelines
  • Acquire, verify and maintain Charter Kit contents, equipment, supplies and calibrated scale
  • Complete aircraft security search as required
  • Perform Ground Security Coordinator Duties and Oversee Guest Check-in
  • Assist ground crews with weighing and counting of bags prior to loading
  • Complete required Charter paperwork and adhere to trip compliance and paperwork retention requirements
  • Maintain contact with OCC, Charter Team, business partners and downline station and FBO locations for the duration of the trip
  • Submit proper trip documentation and required forms as applicable for all
  • Charter flights in a timely manner
  • Coordinate reconciliation of trip expenses per Company expense policy
  • Provide outstanding customer service consistently and serve as an
  • ambassador of the Breeze Airways brand
  • Maintain engagement with the Company by attending OCR meetings,
  • reading e-mail, paper mail, and intranet communications to enhance
  • service-related responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned in Breeze Systems including entries in NOC, Crew App, Aptaero Airline Choice, Etc.
  • Administrative duties as assigned

Here's what you'll need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

  • Able to complete and maintain Breeze required Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) qualification
  • Two (2) years customer service in a face-to-face environment including proactively resolving Customer issues regularly
  • Successfully complete Breeze Airways Charter Representative Training program
  • Able to work varying schedules including reserve duty, weekends, evenings, holidays, and last-minute trips
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • Remain composed in a demanding, fast-paced work environment and take control in unexpected situations
  • Able to read and comprehend guidance as found in required manuals
  • Must be able to adhere to the Breeze Airways Appearance Standards
  • Able to work as a team with Flight and Inflight Crew to deliver the Seriously Nice Breeze Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a strong passion for quality customer service
  • Able to be away from home for up to seven (7) nights and eight (8) consecutive days
  • Knowledge of basic computer and electronic tablet devices
  • Able to function effectively with limited hands-on supervisory guidance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Airline or airport ramp experience
  • Prior event coordination or project management experience

Skills/Talents

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on Breeze flights, and if time permits, all
  • capable Team members are asked to assist with light cleaning of
  • the aircraft
  • Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by Breeze’s Safety
  • Management System
  • Promote Breeze’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting
  • Breeze’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and
  • behavioral standards
  • Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be
  • reported and report them whenever possible and by any means
  • necessary including Breeze’s confidential reporting systems
  • (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action
  • Report(SAR))
  • Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA,
  • OSHA, DOT, TSA, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk
  • controls
  • Uphold Breeze’s safety performance metric goals and
  • understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
