The People Team Coordinator plays a vital supporting role in delivering the Seriously Nice Team Member Experience that Breeze is known for. This role focuses on administrative coordination and task execution to ensure new and current Team Members receive timelyaccurate, and warm support throughout their journey with Breeze. 

Here's what you'll do

  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, I-9s, E-Verify, and fingerprinting 
  • Print and prepare Team Member badges in accordance with Breeze badging procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution for new hires and replacements 
  • Track onboarding task completion and send follow-up reminders to ensure timely processing 
  • Handle routine email correspondence from new hires and current Team Members with professionalism and care
  • Prepare and distribute standard onboarding communications and First Day expectation materials  
  • Provide new hires with Workday login information, access details, and step-by-step instructions  
  • Perform basic data entry and recordkeeping in Workday and other HRIS systems  
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic personnel files and documentation 
  • Assist with badging coordination and support TSA compliance administrative tasks 
  • Support facilities, access coordination and workspace setup logistics 
  • Monitor and respond to shared inboxes and manage employment updates through ClickUp 
  • Support People Team administrative needs including filing, scheduling, and correspondence  
  • Assist with the administrative components of People Team projects, events, and engagement initiatives 
  • Provide clerical support for record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS data entry across the People Team, Talent Team, and Drug & Alcohol Program 
  • Support compliance tracking by following up on required forms and ensuring documentation is complete and accurate 
  • Assist with termination badging compliance audit support as directed 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership  
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence 

Here's what you'll need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (2-year) from an accredited institution or equivalent working experience 
  • 0-1 years of experience in a Human Resources or Administration role
  • 1+ years administrative support  
  • Experience using HRIS systems
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new digital tools and platforms
  • Ability to build strong relationships with leaders and Team Members, providing guidance and support with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to support day-to-day HR needs 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating pre-employment background checks, drug tests, and onboarding, including I-9 completion and E-Verify, and offboarding 
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent working experience
  • Experience supporting People Operations or Team Member Experience initiatives, engagement activities, or cross-functional projects
  • Experience managing TSA and/or FAA-related compliance programs (fingerprinting, CHRC, Rap Back, or badging)
  • Experience in an airline, hospitality, or other service-oriented industry
  • Experience with airlines or other transportation industry organizations
  • Experience with Workday HCM
