Compliance Operations Specialist

What You’ll Do:

• Support the day-to-day operations of our compliance program, ensuring that processes are carried out efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor and track compliance activities, including KYC, AML, and BSA-related tasks.
• Manage compliance-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize compliance initiatives, providing hands-on support to ensure compliance is integrated into product and service offerings.
• Assist in maintaining the integrity of the compliance system by performing routine checks, audits, and investigations of transactions and customer accounts.
• Maintain and update compliance records, systems, and tools.
• Assist with preparation of compliance reports, audit documentation, and responding to regulatory inquiries and internal requests.
• Provide hands-on support for compliance-related projects and initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• 1-2 years of experience in a compliance or operational role within fintech, payments, crypto or a related industry.
• Familiarity with KYC/KYB, BSA/AML, sanctions, EDD, and financial crimes compliance
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to process, monitor, and analyze transaction data in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with using compliance tools and systems (experience with transaction monitoring tools is a plus).
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about the fintech and crypto compliance landscape.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must be eligible to work in Bulgaria and open to working onsite in Sofia in the future
