Warehouse Manager

Job Function:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and personnel while achieving performance objectives established by the Operations Manager . This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant flow of materials, accurate inventory management, strong team performance, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coach, counsel, train, and discipline warehouse employees to drive performance and accountability.
- Review weekly timecards and submit approved hours to payroll.
- Allocate staffing and resources to meet immediate and long-term operational objectives.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control activities.
- Ensure all customer requirements, service levels, and quality expectations are consistently met.
- Strive to minimize warehouse resource waste including payroll hours, inventory loss, damaged product, and inefficient use of space.
- Participate in ISO and customer audits and ensure full warehouse and personnel audit readiness.
- Ensure daily tow motor logs are completed and reviewed.
- Verify that all warehouse tools and equipment are calibrated according to required intervals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Ensure all warehouse assets (trade and expense) are accurately tracked and accounted for.
- Oversee general building maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Maintain accountability for warehouse equipment, tools, and inventory assets.
- Utilize NetSuite daily to process receipts, shipments, transfers, and inventory adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely system transactions.
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to organize, set priorities, and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using NetSuite for inventory, order processing, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of RF scanner guns and barcode scanning workflows.
- Experience utilizing tablets and mobile devices for warehouse operations, data entry, and task management.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role.
