Operations Manager

JOB FUNCTION: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations across two buildings located at the same site. This role ensures efficient operations, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time order fulfillment. The Operations Manager drives process improvements, maintains a strong safety culture, and leads cross-functional teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.

 

JOB DUTIES

  • Oversee daily operations across two on-site warehouse and distribution facilities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage the customer service and billing department to enhance order processing, invoicing accuracy, and client satisfaction.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and maintain accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance teams to support seamless logistics and customer fulfillment.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, security, and warehouse equipment to ensure a safe and functional workplace.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring adherence to all workplace safety procedures and regulations.

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong leadership experience managing multi-department operations within warehouse and distribution environments.
  • Proven ability to oversee operations across multiple facilities or operational areas.
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse management

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.

Local Pay Range

$100,000 - $130,000 USD
