Affiliate Overview
Calcilytix Therapeutics, an affiliate within BridgeBio Pharma, is developing encaleret, a negative allosteric modulator of the calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) for the treatment of Autosomal Dominant Hypocalcemia Type 1 (ADH1), a genetic cause of hypoparathyroidism. Encaleret is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 clinical study and has received Orphan Drug Designation from the US FDA, EMA, and PMDA as well as Fast Track Designation from the US FDA. Results from the Phase 2b clinical study of encaleret in patients in ADH1 were published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
What You'll Do
The Manager/Sr. Manager, Commercial Global Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for developing comprehensive supply plans to support commercial forecasts, optimizing inventory positions, contributing to the S&OP process, and supporting supply chain launch readiness efforts for new commercial products. Collaboration with internal and external partners, including Commercial demand planning, CMC teams, and CMOs / CPOs, will be instrumental in successfully developing a global supply plan that supports market demand and drives supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities
Supply Planning Process / Launch Readiness
- Utilize and optimize existing supply planning tools and processes to drive global supply chain effectiveness
- Reconcile global supply and demand, and collaborate closely with the demand planner to align forecasts
- Develop an accurate production plan for all key components of the pharmaceutical supply chain (including but not limited to Drug Substance/API, Drug Product, packaging, and labeling)
- Create a Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all suppliers, including Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) & Contract Packaging Organizations (CPOs), and support communication of the MPS regularly
- Determine and adjust safety stock levels for finished goods at the Third Party Logistics (3PLs) warehouse, achieve inventory targets, and mitigate stock-outs
- Develop ramp-up supply plans to support new commercial product introductions
Inventory Reconciliation and Reporting
- Responsible for tracking inventory levels, generating reports to provide insights into inventory performance, and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with external parties (CMOs / CPOs / 3PLs) and internal stakeholders (commercial and finance) on monthly inventory reporting and reconciliation
- Monitor inventory shelf-life and develop supply plans that mitigate expiration loss
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Support:
- Provide essential inputs and support to ensure alignment between supply and demand, contributing to the development of robust and effective S&OP strategies
- Present proposed supply plans and insights on supply plan accuracy/production adherence, and inventory management to the executive team
Item Number Process Owner:
- Own the new item number introduction and management process
- Ensure the Standard Operation Procedure is followed for all item number additions, changes, and obsolescence
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely implementation of item numbers for the new commercial product
Where You'll Work
This is a role that can either be based in the San Francisco Bay area, requiring in-office collaboration 2- 3x per week in the San Francisco Office, or remotely (US), that will require periodic visits to the San Francisco Office (4- 8x per year).
Who You Are
- 3-5 years of supply chain experience
- Life Science industry, commercial product, and product launch experience are a plus
- Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, inventory management, and supply planning methodologies in the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated ability to analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain planning performance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and with CMOs / CPOs
- Experience with supply planning tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, especially SAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and mitigating supply chain planning risks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel

Salary
$125,000 - $175,000 USD
