What You'll Do
BridgeBio is seeking a qualified and highly motivated individual to handle the company’s payroll processing and related accounting entries. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator. This role will report to the Payroll & Accounting Manager, who reports to the Senior Director of Payroll and Stock Comp Accounting.
Responsibilities
- The Payroll Analyst is responsible for payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages to employees
- This role involves handling payroll staff, coordinating the payroll system, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for the USA population
- Review employee/payroll records in ADP Workforce Now, including new hires and terminations, compensation changes, banking profile, tax profile, or other miscellaneous changes
- Manage 401 (k) contribution files and funding via Fidelity
- Process employees’ HAS/FSA contributions to vendors
- Manage the completion of timesheet entry and approval for non-exempt employees
- Manage wage garnishments and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner
- Ability to work closely with HR/Benefits groups pertaining to payroll input
- Monitoring and updating tax rates in ADP
- Partnering with ADP for new state/local tax registrations
- Answer employee questions related to payroll matters
- Participate in system implementation initiatives, including gathering requirements, attending system demos, testing, developing desktop procedures, and training
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation over the payroll function in compliance with the SOX requirement
- Prepare payroll and various accrual accounting entries
- Prepare payroll and accrual account reconciliation
- Other duties and special projects, as assigned
Where You'll Work
This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 2-3x per week, or as needed, in our San Francisco, CA office.
Who You Are
The successful candidate will have a breadth of experience and an in-depth understanding of multi-state payroll processes
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Payroll
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience with ADP WFN is a big plus
- Strong communication skills and the desire to work in a fast-paced, multiple-deadline environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptionally detail-oriented
- Proficiency in utilizing various software applications (E.g., Excel)
- Basic understanding of Accounting

Salary
$95,000 - $130,000 USD
