In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.
Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.
What You’ll Do
You will report to the VP & GM EU Center and work closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Advocacy, Supply Chain and Finance, as well as global commercial teams, to drive strategic initiatives that support BridgeBio’s mission of delivering transformative medicines to patients with genetic diseases and genetically driven cancers. Your primary purpose will be to build and lead the commercial organisation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, preparing and executing the launches in ADH1 and achondroplasia and building the foundation for future indications. You will lead the field force, including Disease Network Specialists who will move into Key Account Manager roles after launch, and drive the local adaptation of disease awareness and marketing materials, the local execution of customer service offerings, and forecasting and demand planning, with a focus on pre-launch readiness in 2027, followed by launch execution and growth. This role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution and impact. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in rare disease commercial leadership and launch execution with strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Field force leadership: Build, lead and develop the commercial field team across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including the move from pre-launch disease education to key account management after launch
- Launch readiness and execution: Own the commercial launch plans for ADH1 and achondroplasia in each country, and set up a model that can take on future indications
- Local marketing adaptation: Adapt global disease awareness and marketing materials to local needs, languages and regulations, and take them through local review and approval
- Customer service offerings: Ensure flawless local execution of HCP service offerings, together with Medical Affairs and external vendors
- Forecasting and demand planning: Own the local forecast and demand plan, align it with Supply Chain and Finance, and track performance against plan
- Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Patient Advocacy so that launch, access and field activities are coordinated in each country
- Compliance and governance: Make sure all commercial activities comply with HWG, the Austrian Medicines Act (AMG), the Swiss Therapeutic Products Act (HMG) and the industry codes in each country, and that clear boundaries are kept with medical activities
Where You’ll Work

- Proven track record of at least one successful launch in Germany, ideally a rare disease or orphan drug launch, with experience in Austria and/or Switzerland a strong plus
- Positive, inspiring and tenacious leader, experienced in biotech build-out environments, solution-driven and hands-on, with high integrity
- Solid knowledge of forecasting, demand planning and P&L management, and of how pricing and reimbursement (AMNOG, EKO, SL) shape the commercial plan
