About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Risk Analyst to join our Technology Risk Analysis team. - You have experience conducting vendor security assessments and third-party risk management, such as parsing value out of a SOC-2 report.
- You excel at communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You demonstrate strong analytical abilities and can identify patterns and interdependencies in complex systems.
- You are proactive, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are collaborative and able to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
You will drive the following responsibilities:
- Lead technical risk assessments of new technologies, such as SaaS and AIML solutions, determining alignment with the firm's security control standards.
- Develop risk syntheses that communicate key risk points to other security professionals, technologists, and executive stakeholders that reduce practical security risk and enable informed risk decisions.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to more junior risk analysts on the team.
- Improve the design, lead the implementation, and oversee with other members of the Technical Risk Analysis team, the firm's controls assurance program.
- Collaborate with other security professionals and technologists to refine or build standardized methodologies for technology risk evaluation, documentation, and the systemized collection of security risk data.
- Stay current with emerging technology risks, especially in the AIML space, and industry best practices to mitigate such risks.
We are looking for candidates with the following minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, application security, technology risk management, information security, or a related field.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred experience:
- College degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Proven track record implementing and/or using controls assurance platforms.
