About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor and partner to account executives during the sales cycle. This is a customer-facing, revenue focused, and high-impact role that blends deep technical expertise with exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
You will partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to guide prospects through the sales cycle. Key focus will be to demonstrate TDX capabilities to support the customer’s business needs, facilitate technical evaluations, and describe how TDX’s architecture and security framework complements the customer’s environment. This role requires strong experience with SaaS, sales motions and GTM as well as deep technology, AI and data platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the technical lead during the presales process, supporting the sales team through product demonstrations, discovery calls, business cases, and architecture deep dives.
- Develop and present business cases that quantify the value of TDX, aligning technical capabilities with customer goals and ROI expectations.
- Explain the value of Brightfield’s AI and data capabilities within the TX platform. This includes how we have architected and implemented our AI pipelines, LLMs and data pipelines.
- Design integration approaches that align with customer environments—ranging from interoperability and data exchange across various sources, APIs, and data pipelines
- Present and explain our platform architecture, AI strategy, security model, and data processing practices with confidence and clarity.
- Support prospects through technical due diligence, security reviews, and IT risk assessments.
- Serve as a bridge between Sales, Product, Customer Success and Services to ensure smooth handoffs and customer success post-sale.

- Sales and solutions focused technologist who can articulate the value of a software solution to customers.
- A trusted technical advisor and strong communicator who thrives at the intersection of technology, strategy, and sales.
- Confident and compelling presenter, comfortable with both technical audiences (architects, IT leaders) and executive stakeholders (procurement, HR).
- Deep understanding of modern SaaS architectures, AI and ML models, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Adept at simplifying complexity, building trust, and guiding customers through technical decisions with a consultative approach.
- Passionate about data, security, and helping customers unlock insights and innovation through smart design.
What You’ve Done:
- 7+ years in software presales, solutions consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Strong technical foundation in:
- SaaS delivery models and associated operational and security considerations
- AI and analytics platforms
- Integration design patterns (e.g., flat file, SFTP, APIs)
- Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), encryption, communications security, and authentication protocols (SAML, LDAP, OAuth)
- Enterprise risk and IT governance frameworks
- Data analytics and machine learning concepts and their application to enterprise solutions
- Experience supporting complex sales cycles with enterprise customers, particularly those with stringent IT/security requirements.
