Revenue Operations Associate, Marketing

The Opportunity

Brightflag is looking for a data-driven and tech-savvy marketing operations professional to help our GTM team drive continued growth. This person will be the backbone of our marketing operation, removing friction, providing visibility into inputs relative to results, and supporting continued effective scaling. The Revenue Operations Associate, Marketing will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution and measurement of our marketing campaigns. This includes managing our marketing database and providing the marketing and sales development teams with the information they need to plan and execute effectively on campaigns. They will report directly to the Director, Revenue Operations and work closely with the Marketing team.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Aligning marketing operations priorities with marketing business objectives
  • Owning end-to-end operational support for our marketing campaigns, including list building and segmentation, database management, automation setup, and measuring results.
  • Owning marketing reporting, including defining and implementing reporting and dashboards to effectively measure marketing performance; provide insights based on reporting findings
  • “Control room” for trade shows and in-person events; Ensuring that our teams are best equipped to be effective at generating pipeline and meeting with customers, including managing  pre-, during, and post- event lead lists, outreach, and capturing conversation notes (note: does not require travel to events)
  • Implementing a program to ensure we have coverage of our TAM in our database on an ongoing basis, including sourcing net-new contacts and accounts in our ICP to grow our marketable database, and managing duplicate records
  • Help SDRs and AEs prioritize their outreach by creating mechanisms to flag high-intent, high-engagement contacts and accounts
  • Maintaining our marketing automation instance (Hubspot) including but not limited to all workflows, lists, forms, and connected apps, plus sync with CRM (Salesforce)
  • Owning lead scoring and routing to ensure leads and target accounts are actioned by the right person at the right time

 

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you need:

  • 2+ years of work experience, with 1+ years in a marketing, marketing operations, revenue operations role  or similar
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; keen attention to detail
  • Experience using MarTech; we use Hubspot, Salesforce, and Gong for pipeline management
  • Understanding of mid-market/enterprise SaaS sales motions and marketing best practices
  • Analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Tech-savvy - able to understand system architecture
  • You thrive in high-tech, fast-paced environments and love using automation, data, and AI to drive better outcomes
  • Learning mentality, always looking to improve the way we are doing things
  • Experience using GenAI tools like ChatGPT in a business setting
  • Excel skills to Intermediate level

Location & Eligibility

This role is hybrid, based in New York city. We expect you to be in the office 3 days per week.
