Sales Development Manager

The Opportunity

Brightflag is on a mission to reimagine the Sales Development function in an era defined by AI. We’re looking for a visionary Sales Development Manager to lead and transform our global SDR team  not just to meet pipeline goals, but to redefine what world-class prospecting looks like in an AI-first world.

This is not a maintenance role. It’s a transformation mandate. You’ll be responsible for evolving our SDR strategy, experimenting with cutting-edge AI technologies, and reshaping how humans and AI collaborate to drive pipeline growth. You’ll design and execute the playbook for what an AI-augmented SDR organization can achieve.

This is your opportunity to lead a fundamental evolution of one of the most critical roles in sales by redefining how SDRs work, think, and win in partnership with AI. If you’re excited to lead the charge in building the future state of sales development, we’d love to talk.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Evolving the SDR Function: Reimagine the role of the SDR in a world where AI is reshaping every interaction, from targeting and personalization to outreach and qualification.
  • Lead and Inspire: Coach and empower a global team of SDRs to exceed pipeline goals by equipping them with next-generation tools and AI capabilities.
  • Build for Scale and Intelligence: Develop and refine outbound strategies that fuse human creativity with machine precision for cold outreach, re-engagement campaigns, event-based outreach, and inbound lead nurturing.
  • Operationalize AI Innovation: Partner with Revenue Operations to identify, implement, and optimize AI-driven systems for lead scoring, conversation intelligence, and personalized engagement at scale.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure frictionless handoff, feedback, and alignment on ideal customer profiles and messaging effectiveness.
  • Analyze and Optimize: Use data, experimentation, and AI insights to continually refine team performance, channel mix, and messaging resonance.
  • Recruit and Develop Talent: Hire, onboard, and mentor SDRs who are curious, adaptable, and excited to pioneer what AI-powered selling looks like.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience leading high-performing SDR or BDR teams in SaaS or technology environments.
  • A strategic innovator who sees AI as an opportunity to rethink, not just automate, the way sales development works.
  • Proven success building and scaling outbound teams that combine creativity, data, and technology.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for outreach optimization, lead scoring, personalization, or conversation intelligence.
  • Exceptional communicator and motivator with strong analytical and leadership skills.
  • A change agent with a passion for continuous improvement and a mindset of experimentation, agility, and transformation.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability?
