Marketing Operations Lead

San Francisco

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to own and optimize our marketing operations while architecting and executing cutting-edge go-to-market (GTM) strategies. In this dual-focused role, you will blend strategic planning with technical execution to drive predictable revenue growth—from managing sophisticated marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot and Salesforce) to building automated, scalable systems that power lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue operations. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing automation, GTM technology stacks, and data analytics, and a passion for continuous improvement in high-growth environments.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize HubSpot to ensure seamless lead generation, tracking, and data integrity.
  • Set up workflows, segmentation, and automation processes to enhance lead nurturing and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, LDR, and marketing teams to design, execute, and monitor campaigns that align with overarching business goals.
  • Track campaign performance, lead progression, and revenue attribution to continuously refine marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and other stakeholders to ensure processes are followed to ensure clean data reporting and full funnel feedback loops are in place.
  • Ensure data quality across platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, and web analytics tools) and generate actionable insights through automated performance reports.
  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and UTM tracking to measure and optimize campaign success.
  • Design and orchestrate end-to-end buyer journeys from ICP identification through revenue conversion.
  • Build and optimize multi-channel GTM experiments using next-generation platforms and tools.
  • Develop, implement, and refine automated workflows that scale revenue operations, including integrating APIs, webhooks, and custom-built systems.
  • Leverage modern GTM tech stacks (e.g., Clay, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and more) to drive data-driven decision-making and revenue growth.
  • Partner with leadership, sales, customer success, and product teams to align GTM strategy with company objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and manage special projects to capitalize on new revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Build custom growth infrastructure that supports advanced automation and scalable systems—integrating back-end technologies (e.g., TypeScript, Node) where necessary.
  • Iterate on signal stacks to capture data from multiple sources (e.g., web visitors, newsletter engagement, social signals) and translate these insights into actionable marketing opportunities.
  • Conduct technical experiments and tests to identify high-impact opportunities and refine customer acquisition processes.
  • Develop playbooks and scalable processes.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communication or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, GTM operations/engineering, or revenue operations roles within B2B SaaS or high-growth environments.
  • Proven track record managing HubSpot (with certifications a plus) and Salesforce (or similar CRMs) for lead and campaign management.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing LDR-led campaigns and building revenue-generating systems.
  • Expertise in modern GTM technology stacks (e.g., Clay, SendSpark, Smartlead, etc.) and marketing automation tools.
  • Analytical skills with experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and experimentation.
  • Familiarity with web systems (APIs, webhooks) and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Excellent project management, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to align cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Thrives at the intersection of sales, strategy, technology, and execution.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid experimentation, continuously seeking innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • A creative problem solver who is both detail-oriented and strategically minded.
  • Passionate about building scalable systems that convert ideal customer profiles into predictable revenue.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
