Here at Bright Network, we’re going through an extended period of growth, and our Events Team are now on the lookout for a Senior Events Manager to join them on their journey…

The Role:

As a Senior Events Manager, you will take responsibility for end-to-end event management across a portfolio of Bright Network’s flagship events, (such as Women in Leadership, Black Heritage Future Leaders and Internship Experience UK) and lead on the delivery of a growing bespoke events offering for our clients.

 You’ll be joining a collaborative Events team whose aim is to connect our employer partners and students through exclusive and innovative networking opportunities. Our Events Managers balance strong project coordination and organisation skills with creativity to connect approximately 5,000 students with over 200 of our employer partners every year. Your work will genuinely help to create change for the younger generation, and provide them with the best opportunities possible to succeed!

Specifically, you will…

  • Deliver end-to-end event management, including but not limited to, preparation and coordination of our events, overseeing the smooth running of the day & overseeing relevant budget.
  • Manage a portion of our current portfolio of event clients – working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand client needs and driving positive ROI.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and vendors, including onboarding & acting as first port of call for issues.
  • Be the first point of contact for any student enquiries regarding events, from application through to post-event survey.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure events are promoted effectively, reviewing and proofing print and digital marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Events Delivery to develop Bright Network’s long-term Events Delivery strategy, ensuring it supports & enables the business’ growth plans

  • You're an experienced project management and/or events management professional with expertise delivering high quality events

  • You’re exceptionally organised with meticulous attention to detail – able to maintain a calm demeanour under the pressure of competing deadlines.
  • You’re a confident and articulate communicator with a natural ability to build strong & long-lasting relationships with client stakeholders, students & vendors.

Key Details:

  • Salary: £52-57,000 per annum
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: King's Cross with hybrid working (at least 2 days per week in the office)

  • Initial screening call: 30-minute initial screening call with our People team
  • 1st round: 60-minute interview with our Head of Events Delivery
  • 2nd round: Presentation and values interview
  • Final round: 30-minute meeting our CEO
