Partner Account Executive 

To put our products and solutions into the hands of partners and resellers worldwide, we need an experienced professional who knows how to connect and manage complex, cross-functional business and technical relationships at software and hardware technology companies. We are looking for a Partner Account Executive to be the leading force that fuels and supports our growing technology and display partner relationships. The ideal person will have proven experience growing existing and new relationships across the globe, managing joint technology development and integration, driving sales and marketing execution within our partner base, and ensuring partner and end customer satisfaction and business success. The ideal candidate will be in the Eastern time zone. 

Objectives of this role  

  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding their focus and anticipating their needs 
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflow 
  • Manage communications between upper management and employees 
  • Stay current with company offerings and industry trends 
  • Oversee and achieve organizational goals while upholding best practices 
  • Be the primary Partner advocate at our company to ensure the Partner’s success working with us 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with our partners’ key decision makers to identify opportunities and develop programs and activities that deliver joint sales results. 
  • Understand strategic, technical, and business needs of partners and develop collaborative solutions 
  • Manage partner account strategy, annual business planning, and regular progress reviews in alignment with the larger sales team 
  • Align pre- and post- sales technical support and joint account sales 
  • Organize regular partner meetings and ensure execution of joint business and product plans 
  • Prepare and present joint proposals and bids 
  • Assist with joint product roadmap planning and execution tracking 
  • Own and lead Quarterly Business Reviews 
  • Ensure partner implementation of key feature support 
  • Report and record activities in CRM (Salesforce) 
  • Attend trade shows and host partner events as needed 

Required skills and qualifications  

  • 8+ years sales and major account management in Digital Signage, Displays, or Audio-Visual Industry  
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize 
  • Proven networking and negotiation skills with C-level executives 
  • Experience working across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Pre- and Post- Sales Technical and Solutions support 
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines efficiently 
  • Strong understanding of all related Digital Signage hardware and software 
  • Trusted relationships in Digital Signage Industry 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related discipline 
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects, ability to meet global clients virtually as needed 
  • Preferably located in the Eastern time zone 

The Partner Account Executive plays a critical role in building and expanding our partnerships. This position requires a combination of skills in technical sales, relationship building, leadership, and strategic thinking to help grow a key initiative for the business.
