We are seeking Institutional Equity Sales Interns to work in our New York, Greenbrae (San Francisco), and Arlington office. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in the analysis of financial markets, equity performance, and economic indicators.
- Support with present Firm's research ideas/capabilities to clients.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of client relationships by providing updates on market developments and company news.
- Manage, compile, update and maintain client data on a continuous basis.
- Daily responsibilities include prospecting, dissemination of published research, CRM data management, and preparation of spreadsheets and reports for clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college/university and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior
- Finance, Accounting, Business, and Economics majors preferred
- Strong finance and accounting skills
- Exceptional research, analytical, attention to detail, and quantitative reasoning skills
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and motivation
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner in a project or deadline-driven environment
- Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all organizational levels
- Desire for a career in the financial services industry
