Position Overview
The Brilla Programs Manager will play a key role in supporting the Chief Programs Officer (CPO) in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of organizational programs. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills who is eager to grow into a director-level role. The Brilla Programs Manager will oversee program operations, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and contribute to strategic planning efforts to enhance the organization’s impact.
Core Competencies & Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of program plans in collaboration with the CPO and program leadership.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of programs, managing timelines, deliverables, and ensuring quality execution.
- Track program performance and key metrics; assist in compiling reports and summaries for leadership.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to maintain alignment, surface issues, and drive progress.
- Provide guidance and support to program team members, helping to foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment.
- Assist with planning and implementation of new initiatives or program improvements based on feedback and data.
- Help identify opportunities for program enhancement and support proposal development as needed.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support coordination, communication, and strong working relationships.
- Represent the program team in internal meetings and occasionally at external events, as needed.
- Manage logistics for trainings, events, and materials; assist with budget tracking and resource needs in collaboration with the finance team.
- Maintain organized documentation and records to ensure smooth program operations and compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., program management, business administration, nonprofit management, education). A master’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years in program management, coordination, or a related role, preferably within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
