Backend Engineer (Python) - Bringg Ukraine

We’re hiring a Backend Engineer at the Bringg Ukraine/Czechia site to join our scaling R&D organization. 

What is the value of the role? 

We're seeking a Talented Backend Python Engineer to help us scale and take our product to the next level. The next Bringgster should be passionate about learning new things and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our R&D Bringgsters are facing the challenges of working on a real-time high-scale production system with enterprise clients relying on it while solving complex technical problems and business use cases.

What you are expected to deliver (Responsibilities);

• Write scalable, reliable, and high-performance code
• Ensure high coverage of unit and functional testing.
• Implement pure CI/CD flows, from local development to production.
• Outside-the-box architectural solutions
• Collaborate with R&D team members across Kyiv, Lviv, Tel Aviv, Chicago, and the UK.
• Engage with product managers, support staff, and other stakeholders within the company. 

What we expect you to Bringg (Requirements);

• 3+ years of experience in Python server-side development.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural principles.
• Proficient with SQL (Postgres) & NoSQL databases (Redis).
• Solid experience with asynchronous execution models.
• Proven ability in integrating RESTful APIs.

Nice to have;

• Familiarity with client-side development (VUE.js is preferred)
• Experience integrating SOAP APIs and working with EDI
• Experience with DevOps (Heroku + GCP)
