Senior Backend Developer

Every year, we process over 200 million orders through our smart, automated omnichannel platform experience.
We're seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our core team, help us scale and take our product to the next level. Our R&D Bringgsters are facing the challenge of working on a real-time high-scale production system while solving complex technical problems and business use cases.
Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in innovative projects that the core teams are working on and stand at the frontline of Bringg’s value proposition
- Write, maintain, and monitor performance-driven code to help evolve our complex systems handling millions of requests daily
- Accurately plan and execute test strategy to achieve high integration and unit testing coverage, aiming for the highest standards of quality to ensure all aspects of our mission-critical application are working as expected
- Actively participate in the process of enhancing our application's architecture, proposing scalable and forward-thinking solutions to meet our project's evolving needs.
- Work with technologies such as Node.js, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Kafka, and more.
- Work alongside professional and passionate developers, product managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders from Israel, Ukraine, the UK, Poland, and the US.
What do you need to Bringg?
- 4+ years experience in server-side development with proficiency in any modern programming language (e.g., Node.js, Java, C#, Python).
- Proven experience with large-scale production-grade cloud-based applications
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Mysql, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Proven experience with asynchronous execution concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field is an advantage
