UX/UI Designer

POSITION DETAILS: 

LOCATION: Remote, in Portugal

DEPARTMENT: Product 

REPORTS TO: UX/UI Designer, Team Leader 

 

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a passionate researcher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers and engineers to evolve our products. The main focus of this role will be to support user research and business research to hep products make strategic business and product decisions.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

Research Skills

  • Identify key research areas to enhance business knowledge.
  • Find and evaluate relevant information sources and market trends impacting the business domain.
  • Plan and execute complex research projects, particularly in the field of unified communications.
  • Anticipate potential research challenges and resolve them promptly.
  • Collect, record, and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Interpret data analysis results and draw meaningful conclusions and insights.
  • Present research findings clearly and effectively to committees or stakeholders.
  • Utilize research outcomes to produce reports, articles, and analytical documents.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in research planning and execution.

UI/UX

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive UX research, including user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop user personas, customer journeys, and clear information architecture.
  • Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and both low- and high-fidelity visuals aligned with user needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and innovative user experiences.
  • Apply UI/UX best practices throughout the entire product development process.
  • Advocate for user-centered design and promote usability at every stage of the design lifecycle.
  • Clearly present and explain design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in research or UI/UX, with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Experience leading UX research and translating insights into actionable design strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically about user needs and business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
