About the Role
Brunswick Group is seeking an Executive in Tokyo.
Executives at Brunswick play an important role supporting account teams to ensure delivery of the high-quality work and advice that companies rely on our firm to provide. They will have direct exposure to clients as they work as key support people to account drivers, delivering critical research projects, leading analysis and alerting internal teams and the client to key market issues that can impact their reputation, while also being central to driving account logistics. Like all colleagues at Brunswick, Executives contribute to internal projects and initiatives to continuously improve work and life at the firm.
Executives have the opportunity to work across the full breadth of Brunswick’s service offering – from corporate transactions to corporate reputation and public affairs. Executives will start to develop an understanding about clients’ businesses and industry trends and will learn how to provide valuable strategic advice to clients.
As an Executive at Brunswick, you will be at the forefront of our client engagements, playing a pivotal role in delivering impactful advisory services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Real-Time Monitoring:Monitoring client news in real-time, alerting internal teams and clients to key market issues as they unfold.
- Research and Analysis:Dive deep into both qualitative and quantitative research, providing insightful analysis that drives strategic decision-making.
- Project Coordination:Keep your colleagues informed of project status, develop action plans, and prepare comprehensive meeting notes to ensure seamless execution.
- Media Relations:Prepare detailed reporter backgrounders and curate media lists to enhance our clients' media presence.
- Competitive Analysis:Perform thorough competitive analyses and identify emerging industry trends to keep our clients ahead of their competitors.
- Event Logistics:Handle all logistics for media and client meetings, announcement days, and other high-profile events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Visibility Opportunities:Identify and assess media and visibility opportunities that can elevate our clients' profiles.
- Networking:Begin to nurture a professional network outside of the firm, building valuable connections that can benefit our clients and your career.
What We're Looking For
- Two years of relevant work experience (advisory experience an asset)
- Fluent spoken and written English and Japan (native level Japanese preferred)
- Strong written English
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit
- Passionate to work in an international environment, strengthening Japan’s global engagement.
