Senior Digital Advisor
Opportunity
Brunswick’s digital team is seeking a Senior Digital Advisor, based in Paris, to join our close-knit group of specialists advising some of the world’s leading organisations.
Our advisory team harnesses the power of digital to help our clients connect, engage and activate their most important stakeholders to achieve business-critical, digital advantage in high stake situations. We help our clients navigate digital complexity to inform markets and investment decisions, build and preserve reputations, influence audience behaviour, manage sensitive issues, and generate sustainable long-term value.
We do this by leveraging data and drawing on our deep understanding of our client’s most critical audiences and deploying our end-to-end digital knowledge and experience.
We offer global scale to deliver communications strategy, business advice, technical expertise, sustained campaigns, content creation, user-experience design, support for senior leaders, and distribution across paid, earned and owned digital ecosystems and we stay on top of developments in the AI space, delivering advice inside and outside the firm.
About the role
You will:
- Deliver counsel for clients across continental Europe in all questions around digital campaigning, the use of digital channels in a fast-changing environment and in storytelling fit for a communications landscape increasingly impacted by algorithms and bots.
- Lead client relationships when and where helpful or play an important role as fully integrated specialist inside bigger teams.
- Be involved in digital communications as part of crisis, restructuring, and employee engagement mandates, and financial situations.
- Enjoy staying up to date on latest digital and AI trends and be passionate about delivering high quality paid media campaigns with a team of dedicated juniors or selected external agencies.
- Nurture a wide internal network across offices and specialisms to share, develop, and deliver the best examples of work for internal and external use; as well as broadening your external network.
- Deliver premium advice, introduce innovative and creative thinking, strengthen collaboration across the region, sectors and practices and deliver commercial success.
- Act as a leader to formulate and deliver strategic counsel on business issues in the digital space, across a range of corporate reputation issues
- Contribute to the development of the digital offer, and by extension Brunswick as a firm
- Manage key team and client workstreams as well as guiding colleagues from Partner to junior level
- Identify opportunities to introduce digital to broader client teams
- Act as a digital “advocate” to provide stewardship and training to Brunswick colleagues
- Act as a credible member of the wider Brunswick client handling team
- Partner closely with Creative colleagues, Insight, and Strategy & Planning teams
- Speak credibly and engage with clients across the range of skills and scenarios which make up Brunswick’s digital offer
What We're Looking For
- At least 8 years’ relevant professional experience
- Expertise in digital communications, capable across the spectrum of digital channels, strategies and tactics, and interest and experience in applying AI tools
- A wealth of in-house experience within complex organisations, leading internal and external partners in promoting the value of digital strategy and investment in digital, and / or prior experience in strategic advisory for digital, within a consulting environment
- Pan-European experience would be advantageous
- Broader consulting experience e.g. political communications, marketing communications or management consulting would be advantageous
- Experience of growing existing mandates and client bases, establishing and cultivating partnerships with prospective clients
- A broad network of digital-related client, agency and third-party provider contacts; a keen networker with an eye for new business opportunities
- A natural team-worker who prefers to work in a collegiate way
- Fluency in English and French languages is required
