Customer Insights Analyst

What You’ll Do: 

We’re looking for a curious and collaborative Customer Insights Analyst to join our growing Customer Insights team. You’ll uncover what drives our customers, from brand perception to buying decisions and help us deliver insights that shape the future of our marketing, product, and go-to-market strategies.

Reporting to the Manager of Customer Insights & Analytics, You’ll help power a consumer-obsessed culture at BRUNT by bringing the voice of the customer into the decisions we make every day.

How You’ll Do It:

Customer Research

  • Support the execution of qualitative and quantitative customer research, including surveys, focus groups, and 1:1 interviews.

  • Own survey development, distribution, and analysis in tools like Qualtrics to ensure we’re gathering the right data in the right way.

  • Dig into customer sentiment, shopping behavior, and post-purchase feedback to uncover patterns and pinpoint opportunities to improve the end-to-end experience.

  • Help track brand health and competitive insights by combining first-party data with third-party sources to build a clear picture of the market landscape.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Create reports and dashboards that monitor key customer metrics like retention, and purchasing trends that feed into ongoing brand and product strategies.

  • Analyze customer segments using purchase history, demographic data, and behavioral signals to support targeting and personalization efforts.

  • Partner with cross-functional teammates to turn data into action translating findings into clear narratives that influence decisions across Growth Marketing, Brand Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Brand Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience teams to activate customer insights across campaigns and initiatives.

  • Contribute to recurring “Voice of the Customer” updates and insights roundups that keep the broader BRUNT crew informed and focused on what matters most to our customers.

  • Recommend new tools, methods, or research questions that can deepen our understanding of the customer and ensure insights are showing up where they matter most.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a research, consumer insights, marketing, or analytics role (internship experience counts!).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite; experience with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics) is a plus.

  • Experience with SQL, and data visualization tools is preferred.

  • Exposure to Python/R is a plus.

  • Exposure to consumer data analysis, market research, or behavioral analytics is a bonus, but not required.

  • A natural communicator comfortable turning data into clear narratives, both written and verbal.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and excited to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for BRUNT’s mission, product, and customers.
