Sr. Associate of Carrier Payments role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to bswift clients and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role will focus primarily on preparation of, analysis of and delivery of monthly financial reports. Excel proficiency and an understanding of math and accounting are all must-haves for success in this role.
This is an in-office role in our Bangalore location. The working hours will be in the range of 10:30am – 7:30pm IST, Monday through Friday.
What you’ll do:
- Support bswift’s U.S.-based Carrier Payment Team by preparing and validating monthly Carrier Payment Summary reports.
- Execute complex data preparation, validation, and auditing tasks in Excel to ensure accuracy and completeness of carrier remittance data.
- Run enrollment billing reports and compile results into standardized workbooks for review and approval.
- Review and maintain advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, and linked data to ensure integrity of automated calculations.
- Audit rate, fee, and premium data to confirm billing accuracy and identify discrepancies that could impact carrier payments.
- Use critical thinking to determine whether discrepancies can be corrected independently or should be escalated to the onshore team.
- Generate final remittance reports and submit completed files to carriers after payment confirmation from the U.S. team.
- Maintain detailed process documentation and ensure adherence to monthly deliverable timelines.
- Collaborate closely with the onshore Carrier Payment Team to ensure accuracy, alignment, and process consistency.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and precision in all deliverables, maintaining a high standard of quality.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, billing, or financial transaction processing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and reconciliation techniques).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve or escalate data discrepancies appropriately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting
- Experience with bswift system
- Prior experience working with Salesforce.
- Experience with U.S. benefits administration system and/or payroll.
