As a Senior Scrum Master, you’ll guide and coach Agile teams at a high level, applying deep expertise in Agile values, principles, and frameworks to enable teams to reach advanced maturity and continuously improve. You will serve as an Agile champion and mentor, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, including Product and Engineering, to manage project scope and timelines, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering maximum value. This role includes coordinating and facilitating all team ceremonies, resolving escalated conflicts, and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

- Lead Agile ceremonies include sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and more.
- Mentor team members in Agile frameworks, tailoring coaching to elevate team dynamics and performance.
- Serve as a key point of contact for all external communication, bridging communication with stakeholders, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with product owners to effectively manage and prioritize backlogs, responding strategically to new requests.
- Proactively identify and resolve complex cross-team dependencies and obstacles.
- Guide teams in implementing and sustaining change management initiatives.
- Uphold quality standards, ensuring all deliverables meet expectations by the end of each sprint.
- Drive continuous improvement by assessing team processes, facilitating feedback loops, and implementing best practices.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment where team members take pride in ownership and enjoy their work.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education and Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience with a proven track record in scaling Agile practices, leading multiple teams, and advancing Agile maturity.
- Expertise in servant leadership, facilitation, and team-building, with a deep understanding of Agile principles.
- Exceptional ability to identify and remove roadblocks, fostering team independence and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Agile software (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.) for tracking metrics, team performance, and continuous improvement.
- Superior communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to navigate cross-functional relationships.
- Demonstrated change management experience and the ability to lead Agile transformation initiatives.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and a focus on results.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to learning and implementing best practices.
- Capable of promoting Agile behaviors, reinforcing team norms, and driving a productive and engaged team culture.
- Experience using Agile metrics to provide transparency at all organizational levels.
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred education and experience):
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), SAFe (SSM) or similar Agile certification preferred.
- Experience in Agile coaching or Agile transformation roles.
