We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our team as the Senior Product Owner.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the development of medium to high complexity products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, with the ability to deliver independently and manage product backlogs effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring that the product backlog is prioritized according to business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility, and for writing clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (Essential Functions):

Ambiguity:

· Navigate product strategy and feature-level roadmap with clarity, delivering independently with limited guidance.

Scope and Influence:

· Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is continuously refined and prioritized to maximize value.

· Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development teams.

· Collaborate with one to two Scrum teams to drive product development and innovation.

Execution:

· Engage in Sprint planning and execution, working with the Scrum Master to ensure the team understands the requirements and goals.

· Provide ongoing support to the development team during sprints, clarifying requirements and making necessary adjustments.

· Review and accept completed user stories, ensuring they meet the defined acceptance criteria and are ready for release.

Communication:

· Communicate effectively with Scrum team members, business stakeholders, and product leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.

Impact:

· Monitor and ensure that key performance indicators are met, and that the product is delivered on time, within budget, and exceeds stakeholder expectations.

Technical:

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.

· Proficient with Agile tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira.

· Collect, analyze, and prioritize product requirements, with a basic technical understanding of software development, APIs, integrations, and UI/UX design principles.

· Write complex SQL queries for data analysis and track KPIs effectively.

· Possess limited domain experience with a willingness to expand knowledge.

Process Management:

· Implement and champion Agile methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education and Experience):

· 3-5 years of related experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within product management.

· BS/BA degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

· Proven track record of managing product backlogs and delivering user-centric solutions in an Agile environment.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

· Familiarity with software development processes and the ability to work closely with technical teams.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred education and experience):

· Experience in benefits administration or the healthcare industry.
