Structured Products, CMO Salesperson, Managing Director
Job Purpose:
BTIG seeks a seasoned Senior CMO Sales Executive to join our team in the New York Office. The ideal candidate will drive strategic growth and build upon our structured product capabilities. This individual will possess excellent client presentation and communications skills combined with self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow institutional client relationships across banks, credit unions, insurance companies, and asset managers.
- Work alongside the trading desk to source, structure, and execute Agency CMO transactions in both new issue and secondary markets.
- Deliver high-value trade ideas and market insights tailored to each client’s investment objectives.
- Monitor macro trends, prepayment dynamics, and regulatory shifts impacting the mortgage and structured product space.
- Play an active role in shaping the direction of the desk and supporting the growth of the broader platform.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in structured product sales, with a strong focus on Agency CMOs.
- Undergraduate Degree required; additional higher education and specialty designations a plus.
- A track record of building and maintaining successful relationships with institutional fixed income investors.
- Strong product knowledge, analytical skills, and comfort with market data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Intex, Yield Book).
- Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence.
- Superior written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
- Self-starter mentality with a high level of accountability and execution.

Compensation:
- BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
- The current estimated base salary range for this role is $250,000 - $350,000 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
