APAC Institutional Cash Equity Operations - mid-senior level, Middle Office
Job Purpose:
BTIG seeks a talented and ambitious mid-senior level candidate to join the APAC Institutional Middle Office team. In this role, the ideal candidate will be supporting a broad range of cash equities business - PT, DMA, and the High Touch desk in trade date functions (Allocations, Confirmations & Reconciliations).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform daily activities relating to client trade booking, reconciliation and ensure all daily activities and controls are completed in a timely manner
- Trade allocation and confirmation generation to clients
- Trade day cash and stock reconciliation
- Participate in projects, change initiatives and office administration
- Drive the implementation of a front to back model to improve client experience and operational efficiency
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Min 10 years of experience in securities products, an operations background and client-facing experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge and understanding of trade lifecycle for Asia, EMEA and US markets
- Strong team player, collaborates with others to drive operation efficiency
- Self-motivated approach to work with a high work ethic and superior attention to detail
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Must work collaboratively, explain and challenge as appropriate
- Problem solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
- The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset and passion for constant improvement and transformation
