Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced, resourceful Product Marketing Manager to join our agile Bugcrowd Marketing team. This is a critical role for driving adoption, consideration, and consumption of our crowdsourced cybersecurity platform by security leaders and technical champions. Sitting at the intersection of product, sales, operations, and corporate and campaigns marketing, this role will have an opportunity to influence the Go-To-Market direction of a fast-growing, innovative company in a red-hot industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Product Positioning, Messaging, and Personas: Develop persuasive, differentiating product positioning and targeted messaging (by industry when relevant) that conveys our value to key customer personas and makes our platform stand out in the market. Ensure consistency of that messaging and positioning across all Go-To-Market channels.
- Competitive Intelligence and Insights: Define, deposition, and monitor the competition, analyze win/loss data, create sales tools, and keep sellers informed about changes to the landscape.
- Market Research and Analysis: Use insights about market and ecosystem conditions to inform campaigns, positioning, and marketing strategies.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for product launches, including sales training content, target audience identification, value proposition, and competitive positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, operations, sales/enablement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Content Development: Oversee the ideation and development of high-impact content, including sales tools (decks, battlecards, etc) and collateral, presentations, case studies, and blog posts.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing activities. Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably including roles in the security industry. Public Sector experience is desirable but not required.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Pay Range Disclosure
The base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to Qualifications, Geographical Location, Education/certifications, Experience, Skill Sets, Training, and other business and organizational needs.
At Bugcrowd, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for the position of Product Marketing Manager is: $100,000 - $115,000.
This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
