Creative Lead, Multimedia

The Creative Lead, Multimedia will drive social media content creation for Bungie-owned marketing channels across multiple platforms and disciplines, including gameplay capture, art & design, video and livestream production. This role will function as creative leader and strategist, operating highly efficient pipelines, and overseeing the work of cross-discipline creatives on the Multimedia Team. The ideal candidate combines game industry expertise with a keen eye for creative excellence and brand alignment. 

This role reports to the Principal Operations Manager. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the execution of multimedia content throughout the project pipeline, ensuring timely delivery across platforms, including short-form gameplay videos, GIFs, screen shots, composites, live action video, livestreams, etc.
  • Partner with Creative Directors, and Brand & Marketing Franchise teams to create content for key beats (expansions, seasons, launches), including ideation, references, project treatments and pitch decks 
  • Oversee creative professionals, both in-house and freelance, facilitating creative excellence while ensuring alignment with brand vision 
  • Translate high-level vision from Brand & Franchise Marketing into breakthrough content ideas, including campaign hooks and social-first storytelling that bring Bungie’s worlds and characters to life in new, compelling ways 
  • Facilitate alignment across Brand, Marketing, Legal, PR and Game Development teams 
  • Maintain assessment of creative team capacity and capabilities, scaling talent as needed to foster sustainability while meeting business needs 
  • Manage project meetings, timelines and documentation, including production schedules, budgets, key milestones, and stakeholder reviews 
  • Streamline processes to increase creative team velocity and drive continuous operational improvements 

Required skills: 

  • 8+ years of experience in digital media, ideally in the gaming or entertainment industry 
  • Experience in AAA game-capture with aptitude to learn proprietary capture tools 
  • Proven experience managing creative teams with a track record of developing talent 
  • Strong creative collaboration skills and ability to seamlessly negotiate pivots in a rapidly evolving landscape 
  • Demonstrated ability to ideate and pitch compelling content concepts or campaigns 
  • Portfolio or examples of innovative digital storytelling or content formats 
  • Strong understanding of player motivations, fandom culture, and content ecosystems (TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, etc.) 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and communication skills with ability to speak within creative and operational contexts across all levels of the organization 
  • Competence with operating under strict deadlines and working sustainably in a fast-paced environment 
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Miro, and project management software such as Asana/Jira 

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$150,000 - $180,000 USD
